ABOUT THE TEAM
MARYANN COKER, DIRECTOR
My interest in property and property management started as a teenager. On weekends, I would help a family member who had a portfolio of properties, to prepare rooms for rental, I would help make lists of works that needed to be done and things that needed to be bought. I enjoyed getting involved in the processes that took an empty room into a warm and comfortable home.
By the age of 18 I was collecting rents, preparing tenancy agreements, contacting and liaising with contractors. I would write up adverts for the rooms and houses and ensure that they were displayed in various public domains. At 22 I had project managed refurbishments, arranged utility services contracts, secured contracts with the local authorities for long term tenants, interviewed and vetted them.
Within a few years I had my own small portfolio of rental properties, bought below market value, and refurbished on a budget and have succesfully mainitained and kept them rented with no breaks for the last 15yrs.
Over the years I have used what I have learnt to assist others with their own projects. I recognise that there are a lot of big and scary decisions to make when buying properties both for residential and investment purposes. Whether or not you live in or rent out a property you are making a massive commitment and investing in your future. I am passionate about providing homes, making peoples lives that little bit easier and helping them to make informed and well thought out decisions, helping to grow their investments, and further their legacy.
